I think that time goes faster as the years pass by…agree? It just seems that it wasn’t that long ago that we were looking forward to the Summer…here we are now and it’s Winter, halfway through January. Can it really be 2023??
Anyway this Sunday 15th January sees the first Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar (‘BBB’) of the year The BBB is an Alternative Lifestyle Market and has been taking kink out of the closet since 1999 and is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
(By the way the ‘BBB’ was the Winner of the 2022 UK Fetish Awards, Best Fetish Event!)
The venue, The Nightingale Club Kent Street, Birmingham B5 6RD, is an all inclusive environment to safely express yourself. Your bold, your weird, your downright bizarre and every area of the alternative spectrum.
Spanning over 3 floors with stalls trading in all manner of kinky, alternative, and holistic goods/service. Bars, gardens and cafes all under one roof as well as stage shows with performances and demos, photographers/selfie spots, monthly themes, prizes to win, local information to gather, people to meet and experiences to have!
Why not drop by and see me (Terri) at my usual spot on the ground floor.. so many new lines, designs and Outfits for 2023! Measurements taken at the stand for that special made to measure garment, Corset or special piece of Lingerie. Hand made with 25 years experience.
BBB…More than a market!
“Okay, so what’s on there”, you may well ask? Well, here we are:
WHAT’S ON GUIDE TO THE ‘BBB’
Theme Optional dress theme for this month: BE MORE BIZARRE!
NOON A full tour is available of the building, meeting other attendees and stall holders at 12 noon with Local Legend Waggle (current Whip boxing champion), ideal for newbies, solos and those new to the event.
1.30pm sees the first of our two stage shows. A welcome to the BBB, special announcements for the day followed a snap shot into the evenings workshop, going into the new year open with PheonixFlight talking Shame and vulnerability. Closing the show we welcome our very first boylesque RipperMoff.
2pm Latex munch hosted by LatexDevotion at the ground floor bar, for those who love wearing rubber and latex
2pm - 3:30pm Meet a Mistress. We offer our side stage to one of the stunning professionals from across the UK each month. The perfect opportunity to meet them in person and learn more about their services: January's guest is the stunning Goddess Krush.
3.30pm Brings our second of the day’s stage shows, a few more announcements followed by our first Best Dressed competition of 2023! Self Entry competition, optional entry, optional dress theme for the month is “Be more Bizarre”.
5pm market closes but your AfterParty wristband gives you 10% discount off delicious food and drink in a private area at the nearby Loft Lounge whilst we reset the lower floors ready for our 6pm reopening. (Looking for the Loft? Out the door and its left, left and left again!)

STEAMPUNK MARKET IN MINEHEAD 29th/30th APRIL 2023
It's back! Last year’s mega successful Steampunk Weekend in Minehead, is back this year! Lots of stands, Steam powered engines and lots of fun. I'll have my stand in the Old Hospital Building as before, The Avenue, Minehead TA24 5AY ...along with a special display of the finest Steampunk Styled Corsets, Lingerie etc...and made to measure always available.
Taunton Munch
The next munch will be on Friday 27th January at 7.00pm in The Perkin Warbeck, Taunton (22-23 East St, Taunton TA1 3LP). Don't fret about getting there for the start, please come any time you can, we will be there until about 10pm, it's an open invite.
If you are nervous and would like someone to meet you outside and walk in with you then please let me know asap so I can arrange something.
We intend to be at the very front of the pub (from entrance in the High Street) As soon as you enter look left and right - we will be in one of the corners. Look out for our munch mascot SirGay the meerkat, he will be waiting on a table to greet you. Here’s a pic, isn't he gorgeous!?
Please remember this is a munch in a vanilla setting so no fetish wear and be aware of your surroundings and other people. Also note that although we screen as much as we can we cannot vouch for anyone present we haven't personally met so please keep yourself safe. If you feel uncomfortable at any time please let someone know.

There are many options for car parking on the night.
Canon Street Park is a short walk to the venue (quicker to walk to the rear entrance from this car park) It is also free after 6pm.
Sainsburys carpark is just up the road from the pub and is also free after 6pm. Please note that if you use this one do NOT park in the covered area as they close this off overnight!.
There is limited car parking on the street (but only useful after 6pm)
Crediton Munch
So the Crediton munch is fast approaching, looking forward to seeing you there, Thursday 26th January at the General Sir Redvers Buller Pub, 37 High Street, Crediton EX17 3JP
It starts at 7.30pm but there is no pressure to get there for the start. Any problems finding us, I will check the group and my Fetlife messages regularly so please give me a shout if you need help
